Thank you for choosing Pothik.app (“Pothik”) as your mentorship platform. Pothik is dedicated to connecting students with experienced mentors for educational and professional guidance. To ensure a smooth and secure experience for all our users, we have outlined the following terms and conditions.

Age Restriction

  • Age Requirement: To make self-payments, users must be 18 years or older. We emphasize that individuals under the age of 18 should consult with a guardian or parent before using our services. This is essential to avoid any potential legal issues and ensure the best experience for all parties involved.

User Information

  • Email and Contact Information: We require users to share and validate their email address, submit a phone number, and provide their Telegram or Discord username. These details are necessary for one-on-one mentor communications. We take user privacy seriously and utilize this information only for the intended purpose of facilitating mentorship connections.

Mentor Availability

  • Students should not expect that mentors will be available 24/7.
  • If students wish to have a phone conversation with a mentor, they must request and set a mutually agreed-upon time slot. Forcing a mentor to be available at all times is not acceptable.

Mentor Assistance

  • Mentors are available to assist students with specific problems, questions, and guidance.
  • Currently, we do not impose a limit on the number of questions and answers (Q&A), but we may implement limits in the future.

Data Privacy

  • Access to Conversations: Students can access their conversation data after their subscription period. This feature is currently available only for the Telegram platform. We aim to provide transparency and give students the opportunity to review their interactions and learning experiences.

Support and Ticketing

  • Opening Support Tickets: For any support-related inquiries, users can open a support ticket directly from their dashboard. Registered users must open a ticket to receive support. We diligently monitor all tickets to ensure that users’ questions and concerns are addressed promptly.

Contacting Guardians

  • Communication with Guardians: In the event a guardian or parent wishes to communicate with us regarding a student’s mentorship, they can share their phone number in a email. We will arrange a call-back to ensure effective communication and address any concerns or questions.
